Alexander Lightbringer

Alexander is from a distant infrequently traveled to crystal sphere called
Teadspace. Named for the sage explorer Tead who discovered the sphere. The
sphere is not often traveled to for 2 reasons first being that it is off the
beaten path with no major flow rivers running to it and secondly it is a
sphere completely with out gods. The natives worship Forces and Philosophies
they have a taboo against worshiping gods and this severely limits all god
worshiping clerics who enter the sphere.
Alex is a Prince his mother is the Paladin Queen of Nesi and the inheritance
is matrilineal going to his older sister. Alex prayed for a quest to be
granted him that would bring honor to his family and his kingdom and was
shown a vision it was revealed to him that a evil force was after a set of
holy relics from Teadspace that had been scattered around the spheres
    Long ago 7 crystal orbs filled with pure white light that flowed from
both the positive energy plane and the upper planes were constructed in
Teadspace. They were stolen by a set of inhuman defectors during the 1st
Unhuman War and taken from the sphere they can not be transported via the
planes as they effect a planar conduit much as a sphere of annihilation
affects a gate. Getting his mother permission to go on this quest Alex call
together worthy allies and set forth on his quest in the only spelljamming
ship they could find to purchase a dilapidated old wasp they named there
company the Crusaders of Light and there ship the Crusader. They found their
enemy, but their ship (being crewed by inexperienced groundlings) was quickly
decimated. Now the crusaders are trying to find either another ship to buy or
better yet a ship and crew to hire the main problem is there money lay mainly
in credit that can be collected from the Kingdom of Nesi which few have heard
of.
Alex is 6 foot tall dark of hair and has dark blue eyes. He keeps his armor
highly polished and wears a white surcoat with a sword radiating beams of
light he has the same emblem on the tunic he wears when not in armor. He
Bears a holy sword named light bringer it has the standard holy avenger
powers pluses it always glows with a radiant light that acts as a continual
light spell it dispels all darkness spells and never wavers. The sword is
intelligent but only communicates telepathically with Alex if it can speak it
has not revealed this power it is known to hear and comprehend others
speaking it seems to understand a speaker no matter what languages they speak
likely this is telepathic in nature. It has been a useful tool in space as
the party is often coming across languages they can't understand and the
sword provides Alex a translation of what the speaker says. The sword has
been in the family for generations and technically it is not Alex's but his
sisters she however allowed him to take it on his quest knowing its powers
would be of great aid to him
    Alex has a mount a greater Pegusi named swiftwing Alex will mount his
steed and fly over to board any hostile vessel in close range. Alex cares
greatly for his mount and spends quite a lot of his spare time giving it
extra care
Alex is very devout about he cause of Good and law he wants to be a shining
example of a just knight. He is very respectful and courteous even to his
foes and is very tolerant of good and neutral religions even if he does not
personally agree with there ideals he at lest "agrees to differ". For evil
however he holds no toleration he is still courteous but it is the curtsey
shown to a foe. He gives his foes a chance to surrender and the other formal
courtesy one would expect in an official war between civilized nation.
Recently he as begun to question the wisdom of this sense seeing his foes
maniacal nature and their willingness to abuse the rule of war Alex holds
sacred. Also bringing him self-doubt is his growing attraction to the elf
Lilia Windsong who is a married woman. He has turn to often consulting the
sword lightbringer and has become a bit withdrawn and contemplative.
