Appearance: Chetawa is a raven-haired human female 5' 6" tall and
roughly 120 lbs.  She is slim but muscular, with not a bit of fat on her
body.  She has narrow face, small features, and green eyes.  Though she
doesn't look it, she is a capable fighter and a skilled warrior.
Chetawa is a young woman, seeing only 21 summers in her life.
    Her attire screams barbarian, which she is.  Chetawa hails from
Icespace, particularly the uncivilized world of Newpoint.  As a warrior
in service of the Raven, she has a cloak of black feathers and various
beads and necklaces that have religious significance.  Her clothing is
hand crafted from the hides of animals, which is slowly wearing out.  In
battle, she dons a suit of studded leather armor, a magical prize she
won in battle from a scro warrior.

History:  As stated above, Chetawa was born and raised on Newpoint in
Icespace.  She was somewhat a tomboy in her tribe, always sneaking off
to hunt animals when she was supposed to be sewing or doing other women
duties.  Despite every effort by her parents, she became skilled in use
of the spear and the hand axe.  Many considered her a shame to her
family.
    Her skills would save her life, however, not long after her fifteenth
birthday.  Her tribe was brutally attacked by a Chainmen hammership.
The men of her tribe were either put to the sword or taken into
slavery.  Some of the women and children managed to escape to join other
tribes, while Chetawa, who was out hunting at the time, was left alone.
She wandered alone in the depopulated countryside for weeks, guided by
her totem animal, the Raven, until finally she stumbled into the local
base of the Pragmatic Order of Thought.  The POTS took in the young
woman and explained what happened to her tribe.  Gradually, she learned
the secrets of wildspace and spelljamming, which she learned eagerly.
Once she was ready, she booked passage on a POTS squidship and left for
wildspace.  Ever since then, she has been a loyal member of the POTS,
seeking to stop slavery everywhere she can.
    Today, Chetawa acts as an agent of the POTS, using her outlandish
appearance to put people off-guard.  However, when she is undercover she
wears clothing standard to the region.  She has a sharp mind, and her
undercover work has allowed her to learn the thieves' chant common to
wildspace, particularly those terms and phrases used by slavers.
    The PCs can meet Chetawa almost anywhere, either trying to book passage
to make her escape after exposing a slaver ring or attempting to
infiltrate one.  Almost one hundred slaves have been freed due to her
efforts.
