Character History

Gotor was born in a dwarven citadel traveling between
spheres. He spent the first 50 years of his life growing
up in the dwarven community learning the ways of his
  clan.
He didn't get out of the citadel much, spending most of
his time learning the craft of his father, forging armor.
He spent much of his spare time working on a personal
project, a suit of dwarven plate armor modeled after his
father's. Gotor did, however, spend a little time in
various ports where the citadel stopped to obtain
supplies. He frequented the taverns quite a bit, drinking
with the patrons and learning a card game or two.
Everything seemed to indicate that Gotor would lead a
typical uneventful dwarven life until the day the citadel
was attacked. In an attempt to gain a base of operations
for themselves, an army of scro attacked the citadel and
succeeded in taking out most of the residing clan. Gotor
managed to escape from the scro's clutches. Dressed in
his recently-completed armor and carrying his
double-edged battle axe, the young dwarf fought his
way to an auxiliary craft and escaped with Dalak
Whitestone, one of the priests of his clan.
Together, the two of them made their way to the nearest
planet, a world called Garden in Realmspace. Although
the group of elves that found them were reluctant to
listen to them, their attention was piqued when the scro
were mentioned. In exchange for the information, the
elves agreed to transport the two dwarves to a port,
where they could attempt to find out what to do with
  their lives.
The dwarves traveled with the elves to the Rock of Bral
and settled in for a few months. After that time, Dalak
joined with a dwarven church in the city, and Gotor
joined the crew of a merchant ship traveling to Oerth.
Gotor spent the next few years of his life traveling with
merchant ships as a marine or added protection in case
  of pirate activity.
He misses his clan, especially his father, but he knows
that he can always find Dalak on Bral to spend time to
reminisce with about the good old days.

Character Personality
Gotor is a good-spirited dwarf most of the time. He tends to get
along with most people he meets.
Most elves tend to look down on him, and he feels that he should
get along with them better than he does, due to his first encounter
with the elves that helped him at Garden.
Like most dwarves, he likes to imbibe alcoholic beverages. But,
he does so in moderation to allow him to keep his senses about him.
He always dedicates his first drink to Clan Darkstone, his clan that
was slaughtered by the scro.
Gotor looks at the scro with utter hatred. He will attack them
on sight regardless of the odds. He feels that he should enact
revenge on them for what they did to his clan. If he kills a few
before they kill him, then he can go to meet his clan in the afterlife
with a feeling of pride.
