The Golden Hawk is a short-range shuttle of the aarakocra of the "Islands in the Mist" of Bralspace, used as a transport between the further islands, the occasional trip to Bral, and as a light defence craft. The Hawk's wings are constructed mainly of golden feathers belonging to giant hawks of the islands.

Golden Hawk is a born wanderer, but with his position in the tribes of aarakocra in Bralspace, he must make do with travelling within close proximity to his home. He has bright golden yellow feathers, with a crimson crest, and has a golden band around his left leg.

Red Lance is an angry young aarakocra from outside of Bralspace, who was found chained to a hold of a Chainmen ship some 3 years ago. He has an overwhelming need to kill all slavers that he finds, and it is only the friendship of Golden Hawk, that has kept him sane and alive.

Notes: The Islands of the Mist, is an region of wildspace that contains a large misty cloud which reduces visibility but not spelljamming speeds. It contains many small worlds. The mists are not an atmospheric phenomenon, but are only of a visual nature.
