The War Dolphin was a ship of ancient design, that was used by the elves when they began their exploration of the spheres. Although the elves only used this class of ship for a short period of their history, about 2000 years, they were the mainstay of the elven fleets until their decline due to the advent of the elves learning how to grow their Man-O-War hulls.
Other Configurations
There are 3 known configurations of the War Dolphin. The design above was used in Military Operations. The other 2 Configurations are cargo and exploration. The cargo class has some inner walls removed, along with the turreted catapult, for more cargo capacity (AR 7). The exploration class is the same as the Cargo class with the exception that the medium ballistae are replaced by light Ballistae and extra rigging is standard (MC C).
