Chargers are the fighting ships of the Minotaur Fleets. They are lightly manned compared to similar ships, and are built for battle, looting, and pillaging. Chargers look like charging bulls, hooves and all. The horns are piercing rams and the hooves are landing gear. The captain's station is on the upper-most level (right under the tail), and the helm is in an enclosed area of the main deck. The crew may disembark using a retractable ladder that runs through the mouth.

Crew

The captain of a charger ship (technically holding the rank of commander) has complete authority over his crew. There is a strict chain of command that is faithfully adhered to. The commander, first officer, and spelljammer are the superiors, with various supervisors under them.

Ship Uses

Military: The chargers are the workhorses of the Minotaur Navies. They are fierce fighting ships commanded by ruthless captains and diehard crews. Chargers are used in battle against other races, as well as enemy Minotaur clans.

Piracy: Often carrying minimal crews to provide more cargo space for loot, minotaur pirate ships (known as Raiders) are renowned for their effectiveness.

Other Configurations

Destroyers: Used to mount major offensives against an enemy, minotaur destroyers have had their medium weapons replaced with heavier versions, as well as the addition of one or two Greek fire projectors. Such ships are fully manned, and the officers take an active part in operating the weaponry. When the major weapons are in use, a destroyer's MC is reduced to F.
