One of the great advantages that the Neogi have in the Astromundi Cluster is their "web" of economic checks and balances that regulate commerce and war in the shattered sphere. Not only has their language (Neogi) been adopted as the spheres Trade language or Common Tongue, but their calendar has received acceptance as the standard. Not wishing to be bothered with difficult calculations (better to spend time counting property), the neogi have kept the calendar simple. This has contributed greatly to its general acceptance.
Not being particularly religious, the Neogi sought to put the constellations to good use. Most races were at first offended, but the non-bias treatment has paved the way to acceptance and now religious observances generally are held on a deities named month.
There are six days of the week: Onesday, Twosday, Midday, Fourday, Endday. The weeks of the month are also named: First, Second, Middle, Festival, and End Week. Example: Twosday of End Week in Yul is the 26th day of the seventh month.
The length of a day is measured by a rotation of Denaeb, the second sun which orbits Firefall roughly every 26 hours. This has lead to the races breaking ship time into three 9- hour shifts inside the cluster.

This is an easy way to keep track of time in the Astromundi Cluster campaign. I would recommend that a DM make copies of the calendar and assign them to a player to keep track of the days. This helps both know how long they have been in space, in port, etc. and takes some of the work off the DM.
An efficient player will keep a side journal with notes on important days such as when they visit a port, explore an asteroid dungeon, or run out of food/air in deep space.
