Ksathasa has been terraformed into a tropical
greenhouse by the Lizard Men. Ice-asteroids hauled in
from the outer zones soon formed the warm lakes that
the Lizard Men love to swim in. Some mining of the moon
is done, but mostly the Lizard Men trade reptile eggs
produced by the many species of giant lizards and
snakes they brought with them. The society is ruled by
Lizard Kings, but these are of Neutral alignment and do
not require sacrifices. Their are a large number of
priests and mages among the population. One temple is
dedicated to Athskssth, an elder serpent (see Snake
entry in the MM, p321) that is revered as a demi-god.
Her wisdom has benefited the Ksathasa nation many times
in the past, but she communicates only through her
lizard men priests. Lizard Man mages often have winged
snakes (MM, p322)as familiars.
